I find your explanation of Onomatopoeia a bit confusing, because I think you add a negative value when you explain the use of creative words. I do not understand why creative words, can't be used or missused like other words, concious or unconcious, to create a laugh, ease up angst in a group, show alternatives, deepening a conversation etc. Creative words can be made by kids and used by a family, be used by someone who does not know a cultures language when trying to communicate or in friendely conversations among friends and family. I do not think we should be afraid if we hear newly made up words. Does all scholars agree that using words in new ways has a negative value? Beside that, your presentation gave me food for thoughts, I have never learned about rhetorics, and this was an interesting taste of new knowledge for me 😊.

Thank you kind Sir.. this is the single greatest overview and priceless advice I've found along my journey ...especially the end because despite being kindhearted I had fallen into these trappings becoming isolated from friends and family i can finally see a summit of mountain ive climbed a hundred times over only to find myself starting up again from its base. I had failed in Ethos and Kairos ...Kairos seems most important like rhythm is to the dance

You are probably the only person I am aware of that could see the jest in Maxwell's Demon illustration Another etymological connection lost in translation is "entropy" and "trope" sharing the pie root "Trep" as in trepidation (to turn) and that which makes the world turn ⭕ It's also quite satirical that the letter Q is a universal syntax for heat regarding the laws of dynamics as well as shadowy mythical cult leader in modern culture shining brightly the artificial spotlight of mainstream influence of which has blinded so many on the Christian dominated so called extreme far right to which their eyes are no longer acclimated to "the darkness" and the inferential occultations of a broader reality

Thank you for pointing out that Livy’s perspective is critical because he gives us the perspective of an actual Rome writing about Roman history. I was in a college bookstore the other day and I spent some time looking through the classical history section…they had no ancient writers!! It was all modern perspectives on the past-it should be the opposite, don’t you think? Shouldn’t we read the writings of people that lived back then and maybe have a sprinkling of modern perspectives on history?? I mean read it all, but for a college bookstore to have no ancient writers…that was pretty disturbing to me.

Sorry if this is out of context. Wasn’t sure who to ask. I’m painting a mural for my husband based on the teachings of Samael, on it I’m writing in Latin the meaning of VITRIOL, when I searched for references, every other rendition is different from Samaels. It reads “(Visita Interiora Terrae Rectificando Invenies Occultum Lapidem”) While Samaels book it reads ( Visitam Interiori Terra Rectifictur Invenian Ocultum Lapidum) I just wasn’t sure if the version opposing Samaels is some demonic distortion. Or if they literally mean the same thing. It’s just the last piece of this mural I’ve slaved away at and would hate to write the wrong meaning. Sorry if this is random, if you have an insight on this matter I would greatly appreciate it 🙏

How is it that in the age of Saturn there was no difference between freedom and slavery, the rich and the poor, and then it is said that in the time of Saturnalia, the roles change, slaves are masters, masters are slaves? I wouldn't say, people are the worst kind, there have always been those who are powerful, and oppressed, regardless of the period. Unfortunately, this is still the case today, and I believe in the future as well. The Saturnalia were just a valve where the rulers, for the purpose of their pleasure-living, would allow the conquered to inhale a little fresh energy, in order to further abuse them even more. "Golden age" - maybe, but only for the rulers.

We frame manipulation as a bad thing, yet when it's labeled "rhetoric", it's seen as good. I'd love to see some serious discussion over whether manipulation is inherently good or bad.
